Cortona, Italy.

In university, I had the opportunity to take part in a two-week exchange program based in a tiny local village on the top of a mountain in the Tuscan countryside. I know, it sounds like a movie and it sort of is. If you know the movie Under the Tuscan Sun, it was filmed in Cortona. Over three weeks, we took weekend trips to Ischia and Capri on the Amalfi Coast, finishing off with a few days in Rome. I met the most amazing new friends and every day and night was an adventure.
